drive offsets:
PROCEDURE: CHECK DRIVE OFFSET AND VCMD TO DRIVE (FOLLOWING ERROR CHECK)

Turn drives off
CAT I: Go to the SYSTEM SETUP/COMPUTER RESET screen and touch CAT COMPUTER RESET, then touch 0123. Go back to SYSTEM SETUP/COMPUTER RESET screen, enter the access code by touching 52468. Go to the SYSTEM COMMON 1 screen and disable the integrators. Touch INTEGRATORS, then 0.

CAT II: Turn main power off/on and do a cold start. As system boots up (push cycle start and stop after two beeps of speaker and hold in until another beep). Go to the SYSTEM SETUP screen, touch OEM then touch 123 when the systems prompts to change parameters, answer NO. Go to COMMON PARAMETERS screen and disable the INTEGRATORS ENABLE (un-highlight) touch field.

TO CHECK DRIVE OFFSETS:
CAT I: Go to SYSTEM SET UP X enter a 1 in VEL SETUP to set the X drive offset, a 2 to set the Y drive offset or a 4 to set the Z drive offset. Note: If you enter a 7 in VEL SETUP (1 + 2 + 4) you will be able to set all three drive offsets at the same time. Turn one of the velocity override pots to zero. (It will be left at zero for the entire test). Go to AXIS POSITION screen.
Turn drives on. If the selected drive offset is not at zero, the axis will now drift, adjust the offset pot on the appropriate drive, (a slow drift is OK). Repeat the above 3 steps until all three drive offsets have been adjusted. Enter a 0 in the VEL SETUP touch field (this disables offset mode).

CAT II: On COMMON PARAMETERS screen, turn on (highlight) VELOCITY LOOP DIAGNOSTIC ACTUATORS for X, Y annd/or Z axis to be checked. Turn one of the velocity override pots to zero. (It will be left at zero for the entire test). Go to DISPLAY MOTION screen.
Turn drives on.
If the selected drive offset is not at zero, the axis will now drift. Adjust the offset pot on the appropriate drive to stop the movement, (a slow drift is OK < .020"/min). Repeat the above procedure until all three drive offsets have been adjusted. Un-highlight all VELOCITY LOOP DIAGNOSTIC ACTUATORS.

NOTE: If VCMD check is not being done turn INTEGRATORS back on.
