DAC ROLLOVER ERROR:
If the machine is going faster then commanded. Check to see if the axis "run away" when commanded to move, if so see MACHINE OSCILLATION CHECK LIST under run away section. If the axis doesn’t move when commanded. Connect a volt meter to the drive ENABLE signal, and if used, the TACH RESET signal. Monitor signals when the drives are turned on/off. If the signals do not change state, check for broken wires. If a broken wire is not found, change the Opto output device for the signal that is not changing state (check INCON Systems drawings for Opto number). Connect a digital volt meter to the Velocity Command at the drive. See if the voltage changes when the axes are commanded to move (max output is +/-10 VDC). If not, connect volt meter to Servo board (only blue board in Multi-Bus card rack) test points along edge of board (top test point is ground, then X output, Y output, Z output, Spare output, and bottom is ground). See if voltage changes with a command.

DAC OFFSET EXCEEDED ERROR:
Check following error. See MACHINE OSCILLATION CHECK LIST under following error check section. Check to see if the axis that is getting the error is "binding" or not moving freely. Check for tight gibbs, screw nut tight, etc. Check to ensure the drive is responding correctly to a command. Connect a scope to the tach signal at the drive, then put the system in open velocity loop. See MACHINE OSCILLATION CHECK LIST under following error check. Follow the procedure except set Copy Feed to 40 IPM and turn over ride pot to max instead of to zero. Check scope, tach should get to speed in less then 50 milliseconds. Check oiling system to make sure slide is not dry, and that proper way lube is being used.

DAC ROLLOVER ERROR:
Check to see if table is moving. If machine is moving faster than control can maintain, DAC rollover message will appeaar. Is machine "running away" when drives are enabled? Is position updating on position read out screen? Check machine parameeters to ensure that they are entered correctly. Check 5/10VDC outp put jumpers on SERVO board to see if they agree with DAC OUTPUT settings on SYSTEM SETUP screen. Check to see if table is not moving. If table not moving, check drive enable and reset LED's on Incon digital I/O board (see interconnect drawings) to see if they are changing state with axes on/off.
